Document details
Version: 0.1.0 (draft). Effective date: none — this draft is not yet in effect, and nothing in it is in force. Last updated: 12 August 2026. Responsible entity: [SPHEROMNI RESPONSIBLE ENTITY — TBD]. Governing law and jurisdiction: [PRIMARY JURISDICTION — TBD]. Contact: [PRIVACY CONTACT — TBD].
Change history:
- Version 0.1.0 (Milestone 19 refresh) — adopted the shared legal boilerplate every document in this set now carries. Editorial only — no term changed, and the document is still not in effect.
- Version 0.1.0 — first draft, written alongside the subscription architecture. No earlier version exists and none has been in effect.
Payment is not activated
Spheromni cannot take payment. No billing provider is configured, no card details are asked for or held anywhere in the product, there is no checkout, and no price is published for any plan. Nothing on this account has ever been charged and nothing can be, so nothing in this document creates a payment obligation.
Payment will be activated only after a commercial review and a legal review, neither of which has happened. Until both are complete and this document is finalised by qualified counsel, the sections below marked activates with payment describe what is intended to apply then. They are not in force now, and nothing in them can be relied on as a present commitment by either side.
The plans
There are three plans: Free, Plus and Pro. An account with no subscription is on Free, which is the default rather than something you sign up for. No price is published for Plus or Pro, because none has been set: what those plans will cost, and what will eventually distinguish them, is a commercial decision that has not been made.
Today every plan resolves to the same limits — the limits the product already enforces on file size, on invitations waiting to be accepted, and on voice history. A paid plan promising more would be selling something nobody can buy, and one enforcing less would be a barrier put up for no reason. You can see the limits your own account is held to in Settings, under Subscription.
How an account gets a plan
Plans are assigned by Spheromni staff. There is no way to buy or upgrade a plan yourself, and no control anywhere in the product offers to. Staff assignment is recorded in the platform’s admin audit trail in the same operation as the change it makes.
Activates with payment: self-serve subscription, where you choose a plan and pay for it yourself, arrives with payment activation, after commercial and legal review.
Trials
A trial puts an account on Pro for 14 days. Each account may have one trial, ever: the start is recorded permanently and survives cancellation, plan changes and reinstatement, so a second trial is refused. A trial can only be granted to an account that is effectively on Free.
A trial ends by itself on its end date and the account returns to Free. It does not turn into a paid subscription, and nothing is charged at the end of it, because nothing can be charged at all. Trials are granted by staff in this release.
Changing plans
Both a move up and a move down take effect immediately today. There is no paid period for a change to wait for, so making you wait would be pretending one exists.
Activates with payment: once plans are paid for, a move to a lower plan is intended to take effect at the end of the period already paid for, rather than immediately. That rule needs a paid period to exist, and is not in force today.
Cancelling
You can cancel your own subscription at any time from Settings, under Subscription. Cancellation takes effect immediately and the account returns to Free. Because nothing was ever charged, there is no period left to run out and nothing to refund. The full position on cancellation and refunds, including what will apply once payment is activated, is in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
What a subscription does not affect
Nothing about a plan changes who can read your files. Spheromni staff have no route and no control anywhere in the product that reads the content or the names of your files, on any plan. Ending a subscription does not delete anything you have stored: your account and its contents are unaffected, and deleting an account is a separate, explicit request you make from Settings.
Changes to these terms
This is a draft and will be rewritten before it is used. When a version is finalised it will carry an effective date and a change history, and material changes will be described rather than summarised as “updates”. Spheromni sends no email and no notification of any kind, so a change is something you will find in the product and on this page, which is a limitation this document states rather than works around.
