Payment is not activated
Spheromni cannot take payment. There is no checkout anywhere in the product, no price is published for anything, no card details are asked for or held, and no payment processor is connected. An attempt to buy something is refused by the server before it considers what was asked for, so nothing in this document creates a payment obligation for anybody.
Payment will be activated only after a commercial review and a legal review, neither of which has happened. Until both are complete and this document is finalised by qualified counsel, the sections below marked activates with payment describe what is intended to apply then. They are not in force now, and nothing in them can be relied on as a present commitment by either side.
What the store is today
The Spheromni store is a catalogue of applications built by Spheromni itself. Every listing discloses, before you install it, exactly what it can reach, from a closed and named list of permissions — nothing is granted silently — and every listing goes through an internal review before it is published. Installing something from the store is free, and it is free in the only sense that matters here: there is nothing to pay, and no mechanism by which anything could be paid.
There is no way for anyone outside this project to submit an application to the store. Accounts can apply to be recorded as sellers, and staff verify or refuse those applications, but a verified seller cannot list anything today, because no submission route exists.
Buying
Nothing in Spheromni can be bought. Installing a free first-party application is not a purchase: no money changes hands, no record of a transaction is created, and it does not appear in your purchase history, because it is not one.
Activates with payment, after commercial and legal review: when items can be bought, this section will state what a purchase grants you (a licence to use the item within Spheromni, not ownership of the software), how long it lasts, what happens to it if the seller leaves the platform or the item is removed from the store, and how taxes are treated. None of that is decided, and none of it is in force.
Refunds
A refund is the return of a payment. No payment can be made, so there is nothing to refund and there is deliberately no refund policy in this document rather than an invented window or process. The product contains the mechanism — a refund request can be attached to a purchase and staff can answer it — and that mechanism has nothing to act on: no purchase exists.
Activates with payment, after commercial and legal review: the refund window, the grounds on which a refund is granted or refused, the treatment of statutory withdrawal rights in each jurisdiction, and how chargebacks are handled. Those are exactly the questions the legal review exists to answer, and stating an answer here before it would be inventing one.
Reporting, and what is not here
There are no store reviews and no ratings on any listing. Nothing in the product asks you to rate an application, and no score is shown anywhere, so there is no review conduct to set rules for yet. What does exist is reporting inside the community, where posts, replies and profiles can be reported to moderators under the Community Guidelines.
If a listing itself is a problem — it misrepresents what it does, or it asks for permissions it does not need — every listing in the store today is Spheromni’s own, and internal review is the control. A route for reporting a listing arrives with the third-party submissions that would make one necessary.
Activates with payment, after commercial and legal review: rules against manipulating reviews, ratings or sales figures, once reviews, ratings and sales exist.
Becoming a seller
Any signed-in account can apply to be recorded as a seller, at most 5 times in total, counting re-applications after a refusal. Staff verify, refuse, suspend and reinstate seller records, and a refusal or a suspension always carries a written reason that the seller can read in their own Settings window. The terms that govern a seller are in the Seller Agreement; the terms for creators of content and assets are in the Creator Agreement.
Suspension and removal
Spheromni can suspend a seller record and can remove a listing from the store. A suspension carries a written reason, and the affected seller is shown it in the product — Spheromni sends no email and no notification of any kind, so the product is where every outcome appears and nowhere else.
Changes to these terms
This is a draft and will be rewritten before it is used. When a version is finalised it will carry an effective date and a change history, and material changes will be described rather than summarised as “updates”. Because Spheromni sends no email and no notification, a change is something you will find in the product and on this page, which is a limitation this document states rather than works around.
