Why this document is short
There is nothing yet for a long one to govern. Spheromni has no route by which anyone outside this project can publish an application, a theme, an environment or a three-dimensional object; nothing in the product has a price; and no payment of any kind moves through it. Every clause a creator agreement usually carries about publishing, revenue share, promotion and takedowns would be describing a relationship nobody can currently enter, so those clauses are marked below as arriving with the features they govern rather than written out as though they applied.
Your work stays yours
Spheromni does not claim ownership of anything you make. The intended position, which will be stated precisely once counsel has reviewed it, is that you keep every right you have in your work and grant Spheromni only the narrow, revocable licence it needs to host that work and show it to the people you have chosen to make it available to. Nothing here grants Spheromni a right to sell, sublicense or train models on your work.
Only work you may offer
You may offer only work you created yourself, or work you are licensed and authorised to distribute. That includes the assets inside it: fonts, models, textures, sounds and code all have their own licences, and using something you found is not the same as being allowed to distribute it. Wrapping somebody else’s website or progressive web application and offering it as your own is not permitted.
This is the one rule in this document with a consequence attached today: Spheromni staff can refuse a seller application and suspend a seller record, each with a written reason the person can read in the product. There is no financial penalty, because there is no money.
Content standards
Work offered through Spheromni is held to the same standards as anything else published on the platform. Where that work appears in the community, the Community Guidelines apply and are enforced by moderators, with reporting and appeals as described there.
What arrives later
Activates with third-party submission: how work is submitted and reviewed, what the review checks, how a rejection is appealed, and how a published item is updated or withdrawn.
Activates with payment, after commercial and legal review: revenue share and the commission rate, payout terms, tax treatment, promotional use of creator work, and what happens to a customer’s access when a creator leaves. None of these is decided, and none is in force.
Changes to this agreement
This is a draft and will be rewritten before it is used. When a version is finalised it will carry an effective date and a change history, and material changes will be described rather than summarised as “updates”. No acceptance of this document is recorded anywhere, because it is a draft and drafts must not be accepted. Spheromni sends no email and no notification, so a change is something you will find on this page.
